 Killzone Shadowfall is the sixth game in the Killzone series and the fourth Killzone game to be developed for Consoles and it was developed by Guerilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released on the 15 November 2013 as a launch titile for the Playstation 4 and is set to be released in Jpan on the 22 February, 2014.


GameplayEdit

Like the other games in the Killzone series, Killzone Shadowfall is a sci-fi, first-person shooter. Weapons like the M82 Assault Rifle, stA-Assault Rifle and the stA-18 Pistol. Some of the new weapons in the game include the LSR44 which a no recoil, hybrid assault/charge weapon and the OWL, a high-tech hovering drone that is used by the Shadow Marshals that can bstun and attack enemies when commanded to and can also create an instatnt zipline and can protect you with an energy shield. It can also hack and scan terminals and deactivate alarms to stop reinforcements coming in. 

For the first half of the campaign the player is alone witht the OWL as your only 'companion' but during the second half of the campaign you are occasionally joined by Echo, a half-breed (half Helghast, half Vektan) who is an ally and can snipe enemies that you mark out for her. Whilst the other games in the Killzone series have been portrayed as a gritty war-zone with you being surrounded by a numerous amount of allies, Killzone Shadow Fall goes for a more open-world, stealth approach. In Shadow Fall the levels are more open world and stealth approaches and that your actions affect the difficulty of each level and allows for multiple ways to complete the main objective.
